How to simulate MSP430 with IAR embedded Workbench?

you have to first create an project or workspace whatever needs. then open the project properties and then goto Debugger section. there, click the driver combo box and there you see simulator, just select it. then write your code and run...this is all...
 
And you can show me how to write codes for MSP430, I've just downloaded this program and installed it, but I've some problems when I want to write some programs for MSP430.

Could you give us hints about what you want to write?
And beside this I would recommend that you buy some kind of target.
There are some very cheap kits. I don't know if the EX430 still exists,
but TI was selling it for 20 $.
