How to simulate a delay in matlab

matlab delay

I am trying to simulate a multipath channel and a rake receiver to receive the delayed versions of the incoming signal. But i am facing problem in simulating the delay for the multipath signals in matlab. So please help me solve this problem.

assume x, then u can use y = x + alpha*[0 x] as 2 path fading.
 

how to put delay in matlab

There a block in matlab simulink dedicated for multipath signals, it is called "multipath fading channels"

just go to: comm blocks>channels
