When I finished the install of Hspice in RH AS3.0,I don't how to set the license file for Hspice, could somebody help me ?

There are Hspice and Cadence in my OS

How to set the license?

PS: when I source the cshrc.meta

there are errors :
bash:setenv: command not found
bash:unsetenv:command not found
bash: /home/cds/synopsys/hspice/bin/cshrc.meta: line 22:syntax error near unexpected token '('bash: /home/cds/synopsys/hspice/bin/cshrc.meta: line 22: 'set path=($HSP_HOME/BIN $installdir/$ARCH $path)'

what's wrong in it ?

it seems that ur use the wrong shell (bash)
as I know, setenv is a c-shell command (csh).
so, u should first type "csh"
to go into c-sheel then source that file.

Thank you for your reply!

Yes ,you are right. The problem is the shell not C-shell

I have solved it!

Dear,

who can help me to solve the following problem?

I have installed the Hspice 2005 in my computer, operation system is RHEL3 AS, but I always encounter the same problem " segmentation fault", during invoking the hspicegui function, how to solve it ?

hello bigcatlee
do you make sure your path and enviroment virables are set correctly.
If these are all right.
You can change another version of Hspice and reinstall it to see whether
the fault is here still.
