I am working with a dell battery, the li-ion laptop attery uses bq 20857 chip as charging controller , i replaced the battery sets with new ones .
results ..laptop detects battery but it doesnot charge or allow to use the battery power.
i found we can program the controller with a jig and software like Accplus
all these sw support bq2085 ... will it work for bq 20857 chip?
Can any one elaborate the process .
