How to remove write protection

While copying songs form PC to memory card,it says "The disk is write protected"
Remove the write protection or use another disk.How to remove write protection from the disk in Windows 8?
 

Can you copy all the contains from the drive and format it ?
If you can not, than you can try to do this from 2nd post on this link

I suppose that it is a memory card and does not have write protect switch :)

yes, but an adapter/sd card which is used to read/write to a memory card he is using might have a write protect switch ;-)

normally memory card used for camera or handicam has a switch at the edge of the card. just shift the key according to its unlock position. I hope it will help to remove the write protection.
