How to regulate 240V to 220V AC without using AVR?

This uses a 240VAC-20VAC stepdown transformer to subtract or add the secondary voltage to the supply voltage. The current rating on the secondary must be => the load current. The phasing on the secondary determines whether you are adding or subtracting. If the output is 260 VAC, reverse the secondary leads.
