AC TO DC

Thanks for the info, but I'm just a beginner so don't understand the data sheet, will this circuit work?if yes how to reduce the DC voltage?

AC TO DC

can i add some zener diode to reduce the DC output?

Re: AC TO DC

I think, maybe your circuit will not work properly because there is not a loop for the current flowing.

Maybe you can use the Wien Bridge to rectify the fullwave AC voltage.

Hope it can help you.......

AC TO DC

I am a beginner in this field can you please tell me how to step down 220V ac to 110v dc without using a transformer

What is the maximum current you will require from the circuit?

Does it have to be regulated or just filtered to a small ripple value?

Transformerless circuit are generally only for low current uses and are not very safe unless carefully constructed and utilize components that are safe for direct AC line connection.
