how to program attiny2313 with serial or parallel port

hi i am new how to program attiny2313 . sorry..

every tine i try to connect serial port connector to pc than program this error comes up for pic download device missing unknown device (-24) how can i fix this error ?

parallel attiny2313

i am ushing pony program from that web link that u gave me i use v2.07c BETA (546Kb) PonyProg setup.exe file packed with Winzip. i gaves me error device missing or unknown device (-24)).. error
i try 2 way one with serial port and parallel port but i get noise pulse not clear
it lots of noise i connect scope to see pulse but not clear ...pulse

I had tried that programmer & found working fine.

the problem you face may be due to improper connection and or dry soldering
