Dear All,

We met a barrier of ESD and EMI on PCB layout.
How to reduce the EMI and enhance the ability to resist ESD?
Thanks.

to prevent esd use esd strpis at the conner of board connect these to chassis gnd
this will help to preveent esd
to prevent emi follow somw si tips
like use of power and gnd planes
minimize return current path ,minimize toatl board inductance ,
emi also depends up on stack up selection

I think, this files will help you

How about explaining more about the board, what sort of board is it? PSU/proccessor/interface etc?

How many layers, what technology are you using, what frequency signals/rise fall time etc.

What EMC/ESD protection have you already designed into it or tried?

What are the voltages used on it?

Does it have any groundplane?

The "EMC Journal" have recently done aseries of EMC prevention articles that are very good reading.
at www.theemcjournal.com they were also mentioned here somewhere.

I'd suggest downloading, printing and reading them all.

Then stick some ferrite beads on your board - lol :)
