how to operate sweep function in hfss?

pls help me to extrude a 2-d polyline to 3-d object.
 

Hi Aparna

There are couple of ways of doing it.try this

Select your 2-D polyline -->draw---->sweep---around vector or around line.

or pick a 2d surface to be extruded, Modeler---> surface---->movefaces---> and then appropriate option

haiiiiiii,,
pls tell me the difference between sweep angle and draft angle.
actually I want to extend a 1 -d polyline to 3-d(tring to make blade of turbine).thickness of that blade is 2.5 degree.length 19cm.and the shaft on which it vil attach is having radius of 3 cm,and length of 1 cm.
