Axial Ratio measurement

Anyone knows how to measure the axial ratio of a patch antenna. What equipments do you need and how to do the measurement?
 

Calculation of Directivity and Axial Ratio

The formula 4.5 found on this pdf shows how to calculate axial ratio from the two orthogonal theta and phi antenna measurements. The formula uses voltage(E), not power in the calculations.
