Radiation

Hello guys;

I have to realize a Microstrip to measure his radiation, and i want to load one of its port with an impedance of 50Ω?
what can i do this in practice and within ADS momentum?

thanks.

Re: Radiation

you must select port» port for edge group.

Radiation

simply add port it is by default 50ohm, so it acts like a 50ohm termination, or make your question clear

Re: Radiation

Hi,

ADS has provide a huge documentation and example regarding Momentum. You should read their example to explore the design environment.

Re: Radiation

Thanks for your helpful remarks, i've found the solution.

We have to do the Electromagnetic simulation of the Microstrip with 2 ports set to 50Ω then in Momentum>>Radiation Pattern we will find the 2 excitation ports, set one of them to 0V and to 50Ω that's all the folk.Now go to visualisation and we get our radiation pattern on 3D or 2D cut.

Ciao....
