how to mesure the Quality factor of the inductor from its layout ?

Hi,

Q can be found easily with layout tools having 2D or 3D freq. domain analysis capability(ADS, Ansoft or microwave )

u can estimate it , by getting approximatly the sericse resistance of the metal sheet , but it is very crude approximation

other way to use EM simulator to get it accuratly
