gsm mc55/56 default baud rate

Hi,

I am facing problem to make my GSM/GPRS module working for the passed 1 week. Various approached had been tried but results still negative. I just wish to communicate with the module via pc hyperterminal, however till now I can't even receive any single reply after I issued 'AT'.

Below are my tried out:
1. Baudrate: 19200,8,n,1 (tried varies from 19200 till 230400, flow control from Xon/Xoff till none)
2. Tried connect RTS0 to DB9 RTS via MAX3232 and connect RTS0 to 0V
3. Tried pull ON to 0V for more than 1 second to start up
4. Tried connect ON & OFF to pull up resistor rather than floating
5. Did switch Tx and RX pins arround DB9 connector

Please kindly advice what had I done wrong or left out. Thank you.

regards,
Law
