Hello friends,
I am using Linux Red Hat, and i want to make short cut keys for some applications (like terminal or text editor or screent shot capture...etc) like Alt+Ctrl+P to open a program like Paint in Windows..

Can someone understand me and help :)
Thanks in advance,
Ahmad,

Which Desktop-Environment are you using? windowmaker, KDE, GNOME, other?

Each window manager has it's own way. For the most popular (KDE and Gnome), you might want to have a look at this article (https://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/kdegnome). It's a good idea to read the entire article, but if you just want to know how to define keyboard shortcuts, read the section: "Keyboard Shortcuts"
