Hi All,
I am designing Xilinx FPGA board and am new to OrCad.
My question is how do I make heterogenous schematic of the same device.

In a sense I want to create 4 different schematic device / components for single device.

meaning XC3S200 is 208 pin I want in one schematic diagram 2 banks so in all 8 banks so 4 schematic instance of single chip.

Please help me create this library component.

Thanks,
Gold_kiss

Re: Orcad help

open library. create new part. In new part properties:-

write name, part reference prefix. In multiple part package fill the following information

PART PER PACKAGE -- DEPEND ON NUMBER PARTS FOR THAT PACKAGE
SELECT HETEROGENEOUS TAB

IN SCHEMATIC DEPEND ON NUMBER PARTS FOR THAT PACKAGE SCHEMATIC PAGE WILL BE CREATED

u can switch between these pages by CNTRL+ N or VIEW » NEXT PART

Re: Orcad help

Hi there is another point that you must consider, the Value, usally under part at left side, must be tha same for all the parts per package, if you gaive them differing ones it cannot be considered as one package.
Have fun.
