Peace be upon you
i'm trying to make a usbpic programmer from this site https://usbpicprog.org/images/usbpicprog-hardware-0.3.2.pdf
i walk throgh the PCB unitl i noticed some thing i didnot undertand it >>> which the resistor R13 value at the upper side in the schematic (latest resistor in voltage pump) , insted writting it's value they wrote "NA",
and mentioned that meanning is "* NA means No Assembly", in blue.
but i really don't know what dose that mean ,,,,
can you help me ???

Re: USB PIC Programmer ,, Meanning of "NA" ???

Generally it's used to mean "Not Applicable" or "Not Assembled" so it's a part that may not need to be fitted for that version of the circuit but might be used in a different version. Sometimes you see these in designs where a component has to be present to satisfy the CAD system or is needed only during testing but isn't present in the final assembly.

I agree entirely with wp100 though, stick to the official design!

Brian.

Re: USB PIC Programmer ,, Meanning of "NA" ???

I also have a PIC18f4550 based Board and I burnt Bootloader for it using
MSHFUSB boot files, it's detected by the PC also in the Device
Manager as Microchip USB Composite
Device
in the bootlaoder code there is logic
when the RB4 is grounded pic goes in boot
loader mode

but which software I should use to program
it directly from PC,I already tries
winpic, ICprog

But not fetting any solution ??
