How to make +/- 20V Dual Power Supply from a 64V 360mA LPS D.C Signal

I don’t know what current you want to supply from the +/-20V?
But from a 64V starting point. (i presume its isolated?
Do a buck to give you +20V.
Then do another one the same, but from a different isolated wallwart adapter
Stack their outputs on top of each other…you then have -20v, 0v, +20v.
…You then just arrange FETs to switch between the +20 and -20V at the behest of your microcontroller signal

alternatively you could do a buck to give you 0-20V, then do a inverting buckboost to give you -20V......then you have your -20/0/+20
 

Or. A dual output flyback.

But it requires a custom transformer
 

Simple step-down converter.

The transistor turns on & off, creating an effect similar to a buck converter.
If the loads are equal then they receive similar voltage. (If they are unequal then you must build a more complicated switching arrangement.)

The inductor and capacitor together form a filter which draws smooth current waveform from the power supply. This allows optimum utilization of the power supply yet does not exceed available Amperes.

Duty cycle is adjusted so that the node 'out1' becomes 24V. It opposes the 64V supply voltage. This leaves 40V for the loads.

 

It needs to be 20V p2p so 20V to -20V.
 

Hi,

There are DCDC converters like "AM10CW-4824D-NZ".
Other manufacturere makes similar devices.
Use a linear circuit to reduce 24V to 20V
