hi all,
In my .sdc file i found four clocks with different time periods ie frequencies, then what is frequency of my design?how do i decide?...some body pls help me...

Re: frequency?????

check for the sampling clock, or source clock

Re: frequency?????

hi eeeraghu, i have clocks with create clock statements in the .sdc, so which is the source clock?

Re: frequency?????

Usually the clock going for most part of the design decides the frequency of operation of that design.

Re: frequency?????

There will be one functional clock in ur design which is used by most of your design. It may be the fastest clock (not all times). If u still have more then one clock in functional mode u have to ask the front end designer which is the master clock.

Re: frequency?????

you should check how many clocks there are in your design.
