how to interface a nokia mobile with pic 16f877a??

hi guys .. im doin a project where a mobile is interfaced with the pic 16f877a.... the pic is then connected to the relays.... how am i to do the interfacing of mobile(nokia) with the pic 16f877a????

can i use RS 232?? i ve gotta sense whether an sms has been received in the mobile phone and the control the relays with the pic...

First of all, select nokia mobile phone with serial port Rs232.

onces you have selected the mobile, search your mobile's cable datesheet.
short all pins(of ur data cable) except Tx,Rxand GD.

Search google for At command and serial port

which software are you working on?
I don't know much about your project but i can help you with the interfacerence of microntroller with mobile phone.It was my 5 semester project.
