Hi all,
How to Interface a 16bit DAC with SPI port with HMI or with PLC.
Thanks and regards

A first glance, these are incompatible devices. A PLC exposes 24V logic outputs, rarely 3.3 or 5V as expected by a SPI device. But SPI is a fully static protocol without a lower frequency limit, so you might convert three 24V logic level outputs to low voltage to drive nCS, SCK and SDO lines. And write a respective PLC function block to generate SPI data.

Thanks FvM for your fast response. I have used SPI port with micro controller for interfacing DAC but not with PLC. Do you have any examples, document or links?

Thanks and regards
