Okay so I've gotten to installScape, pointed it to the dir which has the files for encounter. It seemed to do some installation. Going to the directory where it was installed, I get this dir structure:

data
installData
doc i
installer_vars.properties
tools.lnx86
ic_index.sdx iscape_logs
Update_IUS08.20.012_lnx86.sdp
install
share

But where is encounter ???

Thank you.

Usually things are inside tools.lnx86 in a bin folder, if you can't find it then recheck your install.

You must have write permissions to /cad/is //I was installing this as a root
There must be atleast 80 MB of disk space available in // i have 18 GB free space
