How to install a membrane switch?

I have an old medical device with me but the old guy keeps chocking these days. And the switch just popped out of it, I called the service provider but as it is old they excused my query. I have went through YouTube and other resources but failed to find a solution. Can anyone help me?

I just did an internet serach about "membrane switch", there were more than 100 million hits.
It´s really hard to guess which one applies for your problem.

So why not posting a photo? (100kBytes should be sufficient)
and giving more details about what exact switch you have
and what the exact problem is

(Please understand: "medical device, old guys, service provider, YouTube" ... aren´t realy useful informations to your problem)
