How to input 2 bit password for security system in Verilog?

Verilog help

I am working on a project related to home security system but i am finding some difficulting in how to input 2-bit password from the user and how to compare it and it can be syntesize. :?::?::?:

How will the input will be given to your system, keyboard, buttons, another MCU will be interfaced with a keyboard then it will transmit it to your system using Serial protocol ,..... or what ?

I am taking door inputs from the sensor and the password from the user by setting bits.
