How to implement a special control feature?

Q1. about LCD Controller "Scroll" ,"Rotate" feature
Q2. about LCD Controller "draw line " ,"picture move" feature (2-D feature)
Q3. about LCD Controller "scaleing" feature
Is there any algorithm for above Display feature!
Q4. If no LCD driver , how to guarantee the controller is OK without FPGA verify?(Is there any good simulation Skill, right now , I only have Novas Verdi , and hard to make sure my design is OK, because I cannot see these display result, if wait after tapeout then fail , ......... ]
