Here is a voltage doubler circuit I am confused about. How to identify the source and drain of the PMOS(M1)/NMOS(M2)?

The voltage doubler circuit in a textbook is

PMOS/NMOS devices have simetry then Drain and Source is interchangeable.

The current in PMOS flows by Source to Drain. Vs>Vd

M2 is nmos
drain n-type/ source n-type/ bulk (p-type)
Since source connector is shorted to bulk,it is same as you dont have source. Bulk- drain makes pn junction.

M2 is pmos
drain p-type/ source p-type/ bulk (n-type)
Since source connector is shorted to bulk, it is same as you dont have source. Drain-bulk, makes pn junction.

Diodes are oriented as on 024.gif picture

to compelete pixels explenation I attached internal diagram of n-channel mosfet.

Thanks a lot!
