Hi,
Is there any way that a cellphone (say Nokia 3310) can be hooked to a MCU. This needs to be done in order to send message and recieve message.

I want to build a remote controlable home automation system and have this nokia lying around so i thought it might be cheaper.

Cheers

Re: MCU and Cellphone

First, connect your MCU to 3310 with this connection diagram

Re: MCU and Cellphone

Thanks for the link to the other thread. I didn't even see it, but it is very similar to what I want to do.

So where can I get the command reference guide for the nokia as I suppose i will need this in order to have any use of this system.

After all making the connections is the easy part!

Cheers
