is it possible in HFSS to get a transient response. reason i ask is i simluated crosstalk in spice using a transient anaylysis, is there anyway to use HFSS to try and match this tranisent anaylysis. i notice there is an option in creating the results for TDR, but it seems to lock up my computer whenever i try it, so i must not be setting something up right, any help would be apreciated. thanks

In my mind "transient response" is equal to pulse response.
You can obtain it just doing next steps :
1. Calculate with HFSS broadband full S-matrix
2. Organize by yourself test pulse (whatever you need)
3. Transform your test pulse to Freq.Domain (using DFT)
4. Find the response (using calculated S-matrix) in F.D.
5. Transform back to Time Domain
The more short pulse response your want - the more broadband S-matrix you need !

I want to know if you have resolved the TDR problem, because I am attention to it now. When I choose the TDR function in HFSS, and get the results, but finally find the results don't correspond to the theory analysis which I am sure to be right.
