Hi,
I want to get the netlist for Hspice analog simulation from cadence composer Schematics.
I know I can get it through that: select hspices simulator and then chose Netlist- »creat final.
But the mos transistor of the schematics is from the sample lib, they have no bulk connector, so I can not do that in that way.
And then I use the way of "Export--CDL in CIW", but when I chose the kind of the netlist to analog (analog or digital), it failed. Then I use the digital netlist of it to make a analog simulation by hspice, but it failed again.
So I want to know the way to get the netlist for hspice with the transistor from sample lib, and when I use this netlist to make a simulation, what should I pay attention to?
This circuit was not designed by me. The circuit was finished before it came to me. What I should do is to simulate it through Hspice.
Thank you!
Best regards!

Re: How to get the netlist for Hspice simulation from cadenc

use transistor from analogLib
use ADE
use hspiceD simulator interface
no try OSS Simulation Enviromnet
export CDS_Netlisting_mode="Analog" in bash, before.

where can I find hspiceD simulator interface ?I can only find the hspiceS.

Re: How to get the netlist for Hspice simulation from cadenc

Of course it has hspiceD inside.
It is near the hspiceS and Spectre when chose Setup - Simulator/Directory/Host.

Hi,
Just use the HspiceS in the simulator option, that's OK.

Hope it helps!

Re: How to get the netlist for Hspice simulation from cadenc

I have tried these ways, But they all failed. I think it is because the MOS transistors used are from sample lib. But I want to make a analog simulation.

Re: How to get the netlist for Hspice simulation from cadenc

use nmos4 pmos4 analogLib, and ADE!

why don't you choose your symbol from analogLib?

Then you can extract your circuit's netlist for Hspice following the foregoing method.
sorry, I am hazed.
