How to get 50hz signal from modulated 80khz in a transformer

transformer

i had to design a transformer. iam using amodulated signal of 80khz i want to get 50hz signal from the signal. iwant to know whether the power is in modulated signal or in 80khz signal

Power is the condition where the voltage is dominant. A carrier is dominant while the message has less power not because of the voltage level but because it less dominant. You might still have a carrier but the change in voltage produced by the message is not there. The carrier is always there and it's power is the voltage level. The power of the message is how it changes that voltage. If the carrier remains a sine wave, then the message power is low. If the sine wave has good change made to it, then the message power is strong.

Real question here is spectrum of AM. Sidebands spectrum components can reach only the half of the carrier component for 100% modulation. This means that sideband component power can reach only 1/4 power of carrier. Because here are two sidebands their power is 1/2 power of carrier. So calculate power of unmodulated carrier and add 50%. This is the maximum rms power of the signal.
