how to generate SOF(start of Frame ) and EOF(End of Frame) flag?

i am doing a NIC(10/100M) chip .

when the data is standard ethernet frame from cpu is sent MAC through PCI bus,how to generate SOF(start of Frame ) and EOF(End of Frame) flag to MAC?
