i'm confused in finding the type of feedback employed in circuits.... My teacher said methods of finding it by shorting and opening certain paths but i didnt get a clear idea out of it.... can someone explain these methods and the principles involved....

Re: type of feedback

hi
i think your problem about the feedback current involved with transistors and the methods of biasing
i think you will get what you want if you search for transistors and the methods of biasing them

type of feedback

is it related to any parameter?

Re: type of feedback

i'm talking regarding the current series feedback, voltage shunt feedback etc.....

Re: type of feedback

one indirect way of finding out the type of feedback is to note the effect or the change in the input and output impedances...

Re: type of feedback

u may better consult
electronic devices and circuits by bolysted
anyways
feedback is a path for reinsertion of output voltage to input side.
it may be a positive or a negative feed back, depending upon the requirement

positive feedbacks may give rise to oscillations, output becomes unstable
negative feedback give rise to amplifires.

we also have open loop, close loop feedback, unity feedbacks.....
it is better to consult the book.
