how to find the envolope of Electric field

hi all
i am studying the scattering of electric field by a cylinder ( i am using hfss for this )...
i see that plotting the electric field inside the cly is affected by the phase at whcih i plot, but i am interested in finding the envelope of all these plots ... how can i obtain the envelope of the electric field????

Just select complexmagE instead of magE.
