Hello All,

Can anybody give me some clues on How to find out the type of Polarization(vertical or Horizantal)in Printed antennas?

Suggest me the factors affecting the polarization.

Re: Antenna Polarization

The easiest way to find the polarization of your antenna is to use a setup in an anechoic chamber, and for antenna reference to use a calibrated λ/2 dipole, placed in vertical or horizontal position.

Re: Antenna Polarization

Hello Vodafone,

Thanks for the reply.
I got this, and I understand that while doing measurements.
Is there any thumb rule, by which we will know the type of polarization by seeing the mounting (or printing) on the PCB?

Also If I have a horizantal polarized printed antenna,Can you suggest me how to make it vertical polarized?

Advance thanks
Sekhar
