Hi, I am using Linux and I need find file, but I don't see Find the same Window, anyone help me?

use command find or locate

type in your terminal (locate):

locate -u
locate file_search.

or

type in your terminal (find)

find / -name "file_search"

enjoy

in the" sart meun ",there is a "find file ", like the windows.

thank you very much. I will try

find <fileLocation> -name <'filename'>

here is an example:
#find /usr -name 'firefox'
return:
/usr/bin/firefox

don't worry about searching all sub folders, it will does it automatically
