How to extract parameter of InterDigitalCapacitor using IE3D

Hi Jian,

Can you please tell me how to extract the capacitance ( series and parallel ) and inductance ( series ) values of Interdigital capacitor using IE3D?

Hi, MM_Deviel:

After simulation, MODUA will be invoked to display the s-parameters. Please select PROCESS->PI NETWORK EQUIVALENT and select SHUNT C AND R for both the SHUNT COMPONENT AT TERMINALS and SERIES COMPONENT BETWEEN TERMINAL. MODUA will find the 3 capacitors for you. The C-values will be frequency dependent. If you want to user frequency independent C and a series L for the SERIES COMPONENT BETWEEN TERMINALS, you may want to build the frqeuency independent model with the C's and the L and try to optimize it on MODUA.
