I did communication between two micro controller using RS-232.

Now I want do wire less communication between two micro controllers.

How to do wire less communication between two micro controllers (89C51).

Distance between two micro controllers is 5 meters.

In my project receiver and transmitter not see each other,

Transmitter is at fixed position but receiver rotates 360 degrees with in the 5 meters range.

Any readymade transmitter and receiver IC s are available.

Can you suggest hardware for this project?

Thanks

you can use an encoder ic "ht12a" to encode data and send it to ir led
then you can receive the data by ir detector which sends the data to ir decoder ic"ht12d" to decode it

for more help go to this sitew :

http://www.rentron.com/Fire-Stick-II.htm

you will find the schematic forthe transmitter and thereceiver circuits and pdf files for the datasheets of the parts used

and if you havent enough time to do this circuit u can buy it from the above site

Re: Remote

One other option are 433MHz RF (el-cheapo) modules ..

This one is the transmitter:
**broken link removed**

This one is the receiver:
**broken link removed**

For the distance of <5m they should work even without 1/4λ antennas - just a tiny piece of wire should do ..

Re: Remote

Thanks for reply

Here I need RF transmitter and receiver with 4 channels.

My doubt is from micro controller, data we have to give directly to the transmitter

or we have to use any hard ware between micro controller and transmitter.

Suggest a transmitter and receiver chips which is compatible with micro controller.
