How to draw eyediagram using CosmosScope?

I opened the output signal in CosmosScope(in time domain of course).Then by using measurement, I opened eyediagram option in that tool.Then I entered my time period and the trigger level as the value which is middle of the whole voltage swing.But I didn't get any eye.What I got is a simple replica of my output signal and duration is one time period.
So,if anybody can tell me about the correct procedure,then it will help me a lot.
