How to draw a schematic diagram?

Hi,

I needed help on the power supply design

Conditions:
Input: 230Vac
Ouput 1: 24Vdc unregulated, 2A
Output 2: 9Vdc regulated, 500mA

How do I draw the Schematic diagram?? Help is appreciated. Thanks!

For 24vdc output, you can use a 24v 3A transformer, rectify it, filter it. That output could be 24 x 1.414 = 33.93v
If you want the output around 24v, you have to find a 18v ac transformer.
This is a typical AC to DC layout.

For 9v Regulated output, you can use a voltage regulator like 7809 in series with source of 24v.

How much variation is acceptable for the 24V output (since you mention you don't need it to be regulated)?

That can't be right. I'm sure it's not okay if the 24V output actually outputs 18V.
