How to do the 8051 chip memory mapping

hey there..
i've got one problem here..

Design the full circuit diagram 8051 chip connecting to an external ROM chip with memory capacity of 8K*8 bits running on 12MHz and 5V DC power supply
complete with the power on reset and manual reset..

ok.. now.. plz guide me or give me any link so that i can solve the question above.. lecture notes given by my lecturer was too short and really hard to understand it..:sad:

Is it possible to connect the /CE to ALE pin?

Is it possible to connect the /CE to ALE pin?

Looking at the timing figures for the external program memory fetches it may be possible, but I’d rather connect the /CE pin to GND and keep peace of mind ..
