Hallo,

Is anyone here familiar with Maxwell 3D? If so, then I need help on the following matters:

How do I best conduct a simulation with dummy objects? The problem I have is that I do not know where best to place a dummy and what its size should be. Moreover in Magnetostatic simulation, I cannot assign it as a dummy object. So I am also not aware, how Maxwell treats it. I have already tried various options, but the result with a dummy has been consistently bad and inaccurate.

Also, when using a sweep around path to draw a conductor, I am offered the options "normal & round". What are the characteristic differences and how do they influence the simulation?

Regards
