Hello there,

I would like to make/Asemble a DSP processor (for 5000 series) if possible,
do you have any experience in the field? If so please help me to do so?

The comercial borads in the markets are so expensive for me to be purcheced, So I am agear to do a DIY one so that do my common learning projects in this field.

Hi friend ....
There is a simple approach . Just buy a Footprint to dil adaptor for the cpu you intent to use .I bought not long ago 10 brand new TI C50xx dsp for $25 on ebay . .Once i have the Cpu mounted on the adapter .I plug the adaptor in another inexpensive prototype board with all the other stufff i need .
once all is working properly you can decide if is worth to design a more professionally looking board.

regards
