Hi,
I am looking at methods to dim a CFL as conventional method does not work.
Please suggest a circuit that can control the dimming of a CFL through a microcontroller
on a 230V ac line.
Thanks in advance!

There are specialized dimmers for CFL bulbs. They operate differently from the traditional dimmers for incandescent bulbs.

Thanks for your reply.
I want to know more about dimmers that can be used for CFL's.
