How to determine the coefficient of the space of the antenna array?

Hi, Gurus,
In TI documents, it is suggest that the multiple antennas' space of the antenna array is equal to the lamda*coefficient.
It said the coefficient is 0.95~0.99.
How to determine the coefficient in reality?
