Can anybody tell me how to make the layout of an inductor in nano henry range? What are the initial design considerations while designing the layout of the inductor? Which all free softwares are available for the layout designing??? Is magic ok for inductor layout design?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

I assume you mean "planar inductor". Try a search on planar inductor design.

Whether or not a lumped inductor model represents the actual PCB pattern, depends on the frequency and impedance level. So maybe you need to add other components (capacitors) to your inductance to model actual behavior.
