You want to encrypt the data in the ATA hard disk using the AES algorithm?
I've used the FPGA chip to realize that. But I can only realize the PIO mode, and the DMA mode is very hard to realize. How do you want to do that?
 

pata slaver just like virtual HDD,it can communication with PC
