How to design footprints in Allegro tool?

Hello ,
I am totally new to this allegro routing.
I am not getting as how to start and from where to start.
I have done my designing in capture schematics.
But before creating netlist we shuold provide the footprints in schematics.
firstly i created my footprints in orcad layout but now i want to do it sing allegro.
how should i design the footprints in allegro. i am not getting.
There is no user guide or manual that i can read and further proceed.
Pls help me i require this urgently.

Hi.
Footprints are to be done and saved, this You do in the same "window" as creating the boards. But before of this You have to create padstacks for the footprints.

One very need thing to have in mind is the directory struckture, in failure here You are lost very fast.

But Allegro when installed has some few videos, getting You started, try them and if needed return.

Directory struckture could be:

Library - allegro15.5.1
| |- Comps
| |_ Pads
|
|- Projects
| |- Allegro
| |- DOCs
| |- netlist
| |- tmp

Where Comps are Your footprints, Pads Your padstacks, DOCs file documentasion gerbers and such, Allegro is project main folder.

Agian Always do pads first, then footrint (in PCB editor), then the board.
