Oscillator Desgin for RF

I was desging a RF crystal oscillator 12 Mhz.
I designed it with my own knowldege ,coudn't make it work !
I searched on google , got some circuits stil coudn't make them work !!

Can please some one tell me how to design a crystal oscillator cicuit or please tell me some reliable circuit itself ,that works.

Thanks !

Re: Oscillator Desgin for RF

Hi,

I know three different crystal oscillator structure, Pierce, Clapp and Colpitts. The Colpits consists in connecting the crystal to the transistor base, the emitter (the output) being reconnected to the base through a capacitor bridge. The transistor is polarized. Capacitor bridge should allow to select frequency. Good luck.
