How to design a ADC and DAC card ?

ADC and DAC card design

Dear Friends,

I have to design a ADC and DAC on the same card. This card uses SPI bus to communicate a PIC on the another card. Do you suggest any document that I shall pay attention and learn how to design this card?

I search some ADC and DAC chips, but which elements should be on the card apart from the chips? I need some documents.

On Altera web-site (https://www.altera.com/products/devkits/kit-dev_platforms.jsp) you can find some docs (including schematics) about DSP boards. They have DAC/ADC on-board. Maybe it will be usefull.

Moreover I attached to the post some doc about SPI. It seems that you have to implement SPI master (or maybe slave) on your board. I hope it will be usefull too.

Thanks for your reply. SPI document is useful but in the link I can not find useful documents. I found ADC/DAC data sheets now I am reading those and some application notes. Thanks again...
