hye.

i need to build an rf receiver 315mhz. how to design the receiver? what are the basic components needed?

Re: rf receiver design.

hi,

a bit more info mite help :)

what is its intended use ? reception of what .... FM, AM, SSB, data, video?

look up some ARRL radio handbooks you will find info for 430 MHz receivers
that will give you some ideas and starting point for a ~300MHz receiver.

have you done a google search , in my quick look, there were dozens of links that would give you good information :)

cheers

Re: rf receiver design.

hi, thank you for your help.

i am running a project that play with movement detector at the transmitter. any movement at the transmitter will transmit an alert signal to the receiver.

i also had done the google search, but i still cant find the receiver circuit that look nearly the same with the receiver i had with me.
if i dont have the receiver (the one that i have now), how could i be thinking to construct as one.

im a newbie in rf. your help is appreciated.

thanks a lot.:D

Re: rf receiver design.

what sort of transmitter is it ? does it have a brand name ?
what type of modulation does it puts out ... FM, PWM ? etc
what sort of sensor is detecting the motion?
Have you got a pix of the transmitter for us to see so we can help further
its too much guessing other wise

Re: rf receiver design.

the transmitter use ASK Modulation. im not sure which sensor im gonna use.

the receiver is designed super generative to make it sensitive to weak signal.
it is attached below.

thank you
